Help Support Independent Journalism

Yes, this is a request for help and no, we don’t do this lightly. Supporting independent journalism in gaming, tabletop, anime, and geek culture has never been more important. And to do so, costs money.

For over a decade, we’ve kept The Outerhaven running on what we earn from YouTube, modest ad revenue, and the pockets of our Editor-in-Chief. We don’t take sponsors or corporate money — and we prefer it that way. You’ve probably noticed we’ve even removed ads from the site (for now).

But covering events like PAX West, Summer Game Fest, New York Comic Con, EGX, CES, and more isn’t cheap. Travel, hosting, tools, and freelancers all add up — and we’ve always prioritized integrity over profit.

So, if you value what we do, please consider supporting us. Any amount helps. We don’t offer perks — just honest, passionate coverage from a team that loves what it does.

Every penny goes directly toward keeping The Outerhaven alive — paying for hosting, products we use for coverage, travel, and the work we’re proud to share.

Don’t worry, even if you can’t or don’t want to help support our cause, we won’t be locking or hiding content behind a paywall. That would be fast way to make our audience get mad at us.

Thank you for helping independent journalism stay strong.
